The Windows version of the TRiLOGI software is a "client-server" software suite which is designed from the ground up to allow PLC programming across a network. The software comprises two parts: the "Client" and the "Server". The Server runs on a PC that needs to be connected to the PLC. The Client can run on the same computer or on a different computer from the server. Hence as long as the computers are networked (including connection to the Internet) this architecture permits remote programming of the PLC via the Internet in exactly the same way as when programming the PLC locally.

* Note:  Internet TRiLOGI version 6.1 can only be used to program the M-series PLCs.  The H- and E-series PLCs can only be programmed by the DOS version or the WinTRiLOGI version 3.5.
