Internet TRiLOGI Version 5.0 is a Client-Server suite. Only the TLServer has the ability to connect to the PLC via serial port. The TRiLOGI clients can only communicate with the PLC via the TLServer using TCP/IP. For local programming using a single PC, you just use the localhost IP address 127.0.0.1:9080 and both the TLServer and TRiLOGI client can run on the same PC.

Hence you must run the TLServer first before running the TRiLOGI client. The advantage of client server architecture will soon become obvious because multiple clients (not just TRiLOGI, but other programs) can access the PLC via the TLServer simultaneoulsy. Look out for an ExcelLink program that will be launched early 2002!

: I have loaded Internet Trilogic version 5.0 on two PCs one with Windows ME O/S and the other with Windows 98SE. I have verified the readme txt file requarding Java JRE files.
: The option to serially connect to the T100MD-1616+ does not come up, the only connection choice is via IP address/ server.
