: 1) How many are most A/D inputs in T100MD1616? 4 or 8?

T100MD1616+ has 4 analog inputs, two of them are 0-1V, and two are 0-5V. Other M-series PLC have 8 analog inputs.

: 2) Do you have any unit to expand A/D to >8?

No direct expansion board similar to EXP4040. However, more than one PLC can be used and linked via RS485. Built-in command makes it very easy to do. If you add a T100MD888+ as slave board you get additional 8 analog inputs. There are third party RS232 or RS485 based A/D boards that can be used too. e.g. http://www.rs-485.com

: 3) If I have to build a analog expansion unit, is it easy to use the EXP4040 TTL output bits as the channel switch (selector)?

You could do multiplexing using the TTL output as selector and the TTL inputs as 16-bit data input for the external A/D converter that you build.
