It is the analog power supply. In T100MD1616+ we give you the flexibility of using a seperate analog power supply to separate it from the noisier digital power supply. However, you may still connect the 24VDC power supply for the CPU to this terminalif you wish to keep it to just one power supply for the whole system.
Secondly I need to drive 16 3 amp (Vickers hydraulic valves) coils and would rather not use large automotive type relays. I do not know which IC or transistor that would be best suited for this job. I think Intersil makes something that is suited for this application but do not know?
For such high current, choose either a electromechanical or a DC output solid state relay. Please consult the suppliers for these kind of parts to choose an optimal components for your application.
