Did you experience problems with other industrial PLCs in your environment, or did you have problem only when using those 5V logic type controller?

T100MD+ PLOs operate in industrial range voltages (24V DC) and have been used very successfully in many industrial control panel together with switches, motor contactors etc, and in some cases, frequency inverter (this is really very nasty and care has to be taken regarding wiring and shielding). No electronics can be 100% proof against very nasty EMC environment, it is all relative to a certain degree. If you apply sensible approach to wiring, back EMF bypassing and snubbing circuit, most of these electrical noise would not pose much threat to the PLC. We have it tested for electrical fast transient (EFT) up to IEC801-4 (1988) which is typical industrial environment.

: Hi,
: this T100MD888 PLC looks like it will need lots
: of packaging work to be usefull. I have quite a nasty
: industrial environment for EMC and transients of
: various sorts. Is there a product offering that has
: a spec on EMC ?
