The DOS version of the TRiLOGI software was developed since 1991. It was originally designed as a pure "Ladder Logic" editor, compiler and simulator program and was used for programming our E10 and H-series PLCs. In 1997 we added the support for the BASIC language which enables it to program the M-series PLCs.
Although all M-series PLCs can be programmed using the Windows Version 5.x or 6.x, the DOS version 4.13 is still used by many users who prefer the precise control afforded by using the keyboard. In addition, the DOS version runs lightning fast on older 286 or 386 PC with only 1 M byte of RAM. Hence if you can find an old notebook computer in your store room you can instantly turn it into a fast PLC programming workstation!

* Note: DOS version of TRiLOGI software cannot be used to transfer programs to the PLCs if it runs in a DOS prompt under the Windows NT, 2000 or XP. This is because all the NT type operating systems do not allow the DOS program to take control of the serial port. Other than that, the editor and simulator may still run in such environment.
